MELODIES

Do you know those music your parents used to play when you were younger? Those music your parents danced on in the living room and played during long trips in the car, year in and year out? I can still remember all the music we played during the holidays: The Beatles, John Denver, Neil Diamond, Pink Floyd... Looking outside with our windows open while we were driving in the middle of fucking nowhere on a hot summer day. This music is gold. The seasons have changed and so did we, but those memories will never fade away. Cheers to the weekend!

    oh I love your description of the feelings these old songs bring! for me, it's especially michael jackson that takes me back to when I was about 5 and remember seeing my brothers and I and my parents dance to it :) my parents even brought us red pleather jackets just like MJ's! those memories will never fade away. thank you for such a lovely reminder and post! you write beautiful words ♥
