The photos from my shopping trip in Valence! All covered with beautiful clothing, old churches, refreshing smoothies, festive markets, charming balcony's, sipping wine by night... And with only one week left until my college will start again. Boohoo!
Fuck yeah, Lowlands was too fucking beautiful. At Thursday the day of backpacks and tent-poles started. A day with wine, a lot of sun and with even more happiness, a true party. After an hour we settled down at our neighbours and danced the whole night. The next day we woke up with the sun in our heads. With goosebumps on my arms and tears in my eyes: Ben Howard, Ed Sheeran, The Black Keys, Movits!, Blaudzun, Ane Brun, EPROM, Skrilex, The Kyteman Orchestra, The XX, Miike Snow and Modeselektor as highlights. I danced my feet to hell in the Silent Disco (the queue was even the funniest). An artist painted our body's at Converse (as you can see on my photos). Sunday. The hottest day since 1944, 38 degrees. All I can say about this day is water, shadow and a waterfight with hundreds of people. While the sun was going down, we were going up. I ended that night in the woods. A peaceful place to wake up. Did I already mentioned that I've met the singer of Chef' Special? He's so nice! For now I'm going to take some sleep and miss all the hilarious, nice and lovely people. Thanks, thanks, Lowlands!
This will be my last post for this week, cause I'm going to the Lowlands festival for a couple of days! I'll leave you with a post about my holidays in France. I visited many markets this summer, but this one was the most fun of all. They're only selling secondhand stuff, like mirrors, but in particular clothing. In France secondhand is called 'vie de grenier' which literally stands for 'a second life'. I found a beautiful maxi skirt, a glitter dress with statement shoulders, a wooden Rosary and the army jacket from my photo. Those items are too good to have only one life, don't you think? Anyway, I'm going to pack my backpack! Bye!
